Carofry is Carotino's unique frying oil that gives a healthier bite to
your favorite fried foods. Carofry brings the heathy benefits of natural
anti-oxidants, carotenes, Vitamin A and Vitamin E (tocopherols and
tocotrienols).
It has these healthy advantages:
Rich in Vitamins A and E
Oils and fats are generally susceptible to attack by oxygen in the air,
resulting in rancidity. Carofry contains high levels of Vitamin E which
are powerful natural antioxidants. It contains a very low
concentration
of linolenic acid and only a moderate proportion of linoleic acid, the
most readily oxidized components of oils. So Carofry has great
resistance to rancidity.
Carofry also has excellent stability at high temperatures. High and stable temperatures are necessary when deep frying foods like chicken or french fries. Oils that cannot withstand high temperatures tend to smoke. It also takes longer to cook forcing the food to absorb more oil. Hence some deep fried foods taste and look greasy.
Carofry imparts a golden yellow color to fried products. Used in frying it converts a normal food into a functional food. When foods are fried with food is fortified with carotenes, Vitamin A and Vitamin E.
